Drum Artz Gallery Fundraiser

These images are going to be up on display and for sale at Drum Artz' Gallery Fundraiser event on Wednesday May 6th. It is going to be a fun evening and I would like to encourage you all to come.

Three Photos from the Beach

These three images are from the same beach in the city of Natanya. I took them all while siting comfortably on a reclining beach chair, enjoying the sun and a cup of coffee. This might not say much about my artistic integrity but I hope you like these anyway.

Here are a few panoramic images I took while in Israel.
They are typically stitched from 6-8 shots, and are 5 feet in width (about a foot across) They are very rich in detail when examined closely, which may not be possible on a computer screen.

Quebec City Re-visited

These pictures are from a weekend Gili and I spent in Quebec City about a year ago. I'm trying to figure out which images  work better with HDR treatment. I liked the results I got here, so I'm sharing them with you. The problem with certain images, especially those shot with strong light conditions and heavy shadows, is that you end up with both overexposed areas (sky) and underexposed areas (shadows cast by tall buildings). Processing these images with HDR solves that problem. Whether you like this 'otherworldly' look is up to you to decide. Right now I'm just excited about it, but i think the novelty will wear off in a few weeks.

Cedarvale in HDR

I took a few images in Cedarvale Park this morning and then edited them through a new software which processes HDR (High Dynamic Range) images. It basically blends the same image shot with three different exposures. Let me know what you think.
