I took this one at the back of a club in Halifax, NS. I like the colours and the strong lines.

TO truck skyline

Taken from the sugar refinery. I like the juxtaposition of the familiar skyline of our city, and the desolate, industrial landscape suggested by the truck.

Girl holding sheet of ice

This girl and her sister were trailing me at Angel Glacier, Jasper, as I was photographing sheets of ice between the rocks. They repeatedly picked up these sheets and smashed them on the rocks behind me. As the girl's mom screamed at her to stop disturbing a stranger, I took the opportunity to snap this one.

Tree Trunks in Winter

These images were taken at Cedarvale Park, a few minutes' walk from my house, last winter. I love the lined trees that carry the eye of the viewer to the upper left corner and beyond.
