Sunrise in Jasper, Alberta

Two summers ago I camped out near this river in Jasper with my friend Raviv. The temperature at night hovered at around zero degrees in mid August, and I had a hard time falling asleep, depite wrapping a t shirt around my head and wearing a pair of socks on my hands. I fled the confines of my sleeping bag- which was definitely not made to handle low temperatures - just before the sun began to rise, and took a few shots. This is one of my favourites.
